In the heart of heat shrink solder butt connectors is a strip of low-melt solder. This allows for the simultaneous soldering and shrinking of solder seal butt connectors.
Solder and seal connectors may address several wire connection concerns in automobiles, heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, farm equipment, audio systems, etc.
Solder-filled heat-shrink connectors may be used to waterproof an electrical connection.
In combination with an outside heat-shrinkable polyolefin tube and an internal hot-melt ring, the waterproofing performance of solder seal butt connectors is significantly enhanced.
The low-temperature solder in solder and seal connectors eliminates the previous issue of the heat shrink shell melting prior to the solder.
The application of solder and seal butt connectors is quick and straightforward.
Even in a restricted place, it is only necessary to use a heat gun to regulate the temperature and attach the solder seal butt connectors to the wire.
Solder and heat shrink wire connectors do not need crimping, making the process simpler and more cost-effective.
Please be aware that these connections can only be soldered and cannot be crimped.
